Continuing to meet the woman behind the scenes: aka Katrina Sutherland! Where would Sutherland Plumbing be without Katrina?  Well, let’s see…

Katrina moved to Portland in 1999 to go to radiography school (x-ray). She graduated in 2001 and started working at Legacy Emanuel Hospital. After a couple of years of x-ray work, she applied for a CT (cat scan) position.

Shortly thereafter, Katrina took her board exams and became certified! Katrina worked full-time until March 2013 when she had her first daughter. After Mckenzie was born, Katrina stopped working full-time and took an on-call position at Legacy Emanuel. In December 2014 Katrina had her second daughter, Makena!

These days, Katrina is so busy with Sutherland Plumbing, that if she does pick-up a shift at Legacy Emanuel, it’s usually only on the weekends.

Katrina’s able to do all of this while educating & entertaining three young children: Presley, Mckenzie and Makena!
