I can’t say enough good things about working with Sean from Sutherland Plumbing. About a year ago I did a bunch of work on a rarely-used bathroom, including having the shower valve replaced. Once that shower started to be used regularly, a leak showed up in the form of a damp spot on a lower level ceiling and an unpleasant smell! I needed to get my house ready to rent in a short period of time and contacted Sutherland Plumbing based on Yelp reviews.

Sean showed me exactly what was wrong, which is that I’d been taken advantage of by the plumbers who did the initial replacement and they did a terrible job. Sean was able to fit me into his schedule later that week to replace it, which I appreciated because of my time-frame.

Not only did he do a great job on the shower valve, but when he came to ask me a question and found me struggling to install a door, not only did he jump in to help and provide advice, he also fixed my front door so that it closes more easily, realigned the sink tap so that it shuts off properly, as well as replaced some light bulbs I couldn’t reach. I mean, COME ON! Who does that? Sean, that’s who. Sutherland Plumbing, please hold onto this one, because you made a customer for life!

“We learned of a possible leak between our home and the city line coming into our home. We called Sutherland Plumbing and Ti came to our home after 5:30 pm! We discussed the problem, he looked at the situation, told me what he thought needed to be done and sent me a written estimate the next day! We made a contract to have a new pipe installed and he arrived exactly at the time he said he would.

Ti brought his team of Cameron & Nathan and got to work. He called me a little over an hour later and told me he had some good news. I immediately went to my home and he discovered that I didn’t need a new pipe at all! He fixed the issue which was under my home and a few other things and saved my family a ton of money.

The minute I met Ti, I knew he was a man of integrity, who cares about his clients and is always doing his very BEST! In my humble opinion Ti at Sutherland Plumbing is the BEST in the business and I highly recommend him and his tremendously professional team for any of your plumbing problems. If you need plumbing help, don’t hesitate to call Ti! You’ll be thankful you did, just like me and my family!”

“Exactly as advertised. If you’re wondering how a business can possibly have so many consistently high ratings and great reviews, it’s no hype with these guys – they are the real deal! I’m a ten year-plus veteran of the service industry, and Ti & Courtney provided some of the best end-to-end customer service I’ve ever seen or received. Responsive, communicative, honest, friendly, professional, on time and on budget.

We’d initially scheduled a water heater replacement for our newly purchased home. Ti explained all of our options clearly, no pushy up-sell, just the facts. If you have any second thoughts about their prices, know you will absolutely get what you pay for: thorough knowledge, high-quality parts and expert workmanship. Considering the amount of damage a two dollar plumbing part can cause your home, is that really where you want to go cheap?

Late in the game I found a leaky washing machine tap and they were able to squeeze-in replacing that on the same service call. While the original estimate called for cutting drywall to replace the entire valve box, Ti found he was able to re-use the existing box, saving us over 300 dollars! They could have easily changed the box anyway and charged us accordingly and we’d have been none the wiser. That kind honesty is refreshing and can win you a customer for life. We highly recommend Sutherland Plumbing.”

I contacted Sutherland Plumbing via their website on Sunday because I’d noticed water draining continuously from our yard into the storm gutter. Ti sent me a text that evening and we arranged for a visit on Monday afternoon. He diagnosed the problem as a leak in the water line from the street to the house and recommended replacement given the age and quality of the line. Ti said he would send a quote that evening (which he did with a very detailed description of the work and pricing) and that they could schedule the work for Thursday. I approved the quote electronically, their scheduler confirmed and Ti was there with his team as planned at 8am on Thursday.

This is a long review, but I want to provide an overall sense of the exceptional quality of Sutherland Plumbing. Communication was quick and easy at every step. Quotes were detailed and options clearly spelled-out so there were no surprises. Pricing was very reasonable given the quality of the work, including a couple of extras at no charge. Landscaping in the area of the job looked as good, probably better than it did before they arrived.

The work looks professional at the curb and in the garage and there were no issues with permitting or the city plumbing inspector. We also had our kitchen faucet replaced while the team was here, with the same level of quality and attention to detail whether the job is large or small.

Based on my experience with Ti and his team, I highly recommend Sutherland Plumbing!

“Great first experience with Sutherland Plumbing! Our upstairs shower was leaking into our kitchen cupboards and sliding door frame. With guests expected in a few weeks, we were anxious to learn what was causing the leak and have it fixed as soon as possible.

Sean Anderson came to assess the issue and provided a clear & concise explanation as to what the cause was in addition to explaining how he would fix the problem. After the work was completed, Sean ensured the shower was no longer leaking, provided an excellent overview of the work he did and also pointed out a high water pressure situation that needs attending to.

We’ll definitely have Sean come back for the additional work that needs to be done. We’re very satisfied with Sutherland Plumbing and highly recommend Sean!”

I decided to install a new toilet rather than fix the old one. We discussed what would meet my needs best and the toilet was installed the same day.
