After reviewing several bids and consulting Yelp and Angie’s List for reviews, we hired Sutherland Plumbing to complete our PRV and water heater replacement and could not be happier with that decision.
After our initial call to Sutherland Plumbing on a Saturday morning, Ti Sutherland – the owner, reached out personally that same day to check-in and schedule a time to have someone come to our home within 48 hours to take a look at our water heater and the issues we were experiencing. John and Cameron were the team that came out Monday morning. They were able to quickly diagnose the issue, get to work on the PRV, and prepare a bid for the water heater.
A week later they returned to do the removal of our old water heater and install the new one and I cannot say enough about their work! They are probably two of the most professional, courteous, hard-working individuals I have come across in any line of work or industry, and we will never use any other plumbing service again.
To add to our satisfaction, John asked if there was anything else in the house we needed them to take a look at, and he fixed our low pressure faucets that had not been supplying hot water in over a year and even greased the tracks of our garage door! To finish it all out, the Sutherland Plumbing owners sent us a hand-signed card thanking us for our business that arrived just a few days after completing the job.
This company not only knows what they are doing on the technical plumbing side, but they also provide next-level customer service on top of it all. You will not find a better plumbing company in the Portland metro area and we give Sutherland Plumbing our highest recommendation!

Fighting in Vietnam, Recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, Recipient of The M-14 Rifle Sharpshooter Badge and Recipient of The 45-Caliber Pistol Marksmanship Badge.
(He’s definitely not the kinda guy you wanna mess with)!
Dan was stationed everywhere from Kansas to Germany and was honorably discharged in 1972.
As you can see, Katrina’s busy 24/7/365, but she still finds time to relax and enjoy life!
